How much do sessions cost?

Our session fees vary depending on which counsellor you see, type of session, and length of session. They are as follows:

Individual Counselling:

Principal Counsellors:
$160 including GST for 60 minutes | $220 including GST for 90 minutes

Senior Associate Counsellors:
$150 including GST for 60 minutes | $210 including GST for 90 minutes

Associate Counsellors:
$135 including GST for 60 minutes | $190 including GST for 90 minutes

Relationship Counselling:

Principal Counsellors:
$175 including GST for 60 minutes | $240 including GST for 90 minutes

Senior Associate Counsellors:
$165 including GST for 60 minutes | $220 including GST for 90 minutes

Associate Counsellors:
$150 including GST for 60 minutes | $200 including GST for 90 minutes

Are sessions with Breathing Space Counselling covered by extended health benefits?

Some extended benefits plans provide full or partial coverage for counselling services provided by a Registered Counsellor. It is up to you to contact your insurance company to find out if your benefits plan covers the fees of a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor (RTC) and/or Master Therapeutic Counsellor (MTC).

Does Breathing Space Counselling offer direct billing to insurance companies?

No, we do not offer direct billing to insurance companies. We will email you a receipt after each session and it is up to you to submit it to your benefits provider for reimbursement.
